Dear Supporters of 100 Friends,
First, we want to thank all of you for supporting 100 Friends for the last 36 years, and helping us keep all our humanitarian projects up and running all over the world.
We have been doing this work for the past 36 years and it is just as rewarding as ever. We have been providing practical services to those in need with scholarships, income-generating activities, medical relief, education, housing, natural disasters and more.
Our new 2026 newsletter is just a click away:

This is Grandma Tith Leap (age 75) from Cambodia. Her children are in prison for drug-related crimes so she takes care of her 4 grandchildren. When we first met she was begging for food outside of factories and markets. The rent for their small house is $30 per month and she was 6 months behind on the rent and on the verge of being evicted when we met her. 100 Friends has paid the back rent and the rent for the last two years and we have provided food for the family.
This photo below is of a young girl from Kolkata, India. She received a scholarship and expenses for food, transportation and school expenditures from 100 Friends. Her father died a few years ago and her mother could not afford to pay for her education. This is a great opportunity for her to learn computer skills so she can obtain useful employment.
This is Mr. Yem Vouch, 67 years old from rural Cambodia. He helps with our school activities and he has difficulty hearing so we will get him a hearing aid. He also has a lung condition and 100 Friends will get him medical treatment for that.
This is Bophe with her younger brother Chanthou in Cambodia. They are both malnourished. Their parents are quite poor farmers. We have arranged for them to receive nutritious food and supplements. Bophe will be able to continue her education. Luckily, we have a Cambodian friend who can deliver aid to them on a continual basis.
This photo below was taken of a Rohingya family that was helped by 100 Friends. They fled the horrific political violence in Myanmar. They live in the Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh which is one of the world's largest. They faced daunting conditions including limited access to resources and clean water, food insecurity, poor sanitation and inadequate waste management. They also had repeated fires in the camps.
We feel lucky to have trustworthy, reliable and hard-working local “ambassadors” to carry our work while Rossel and I are running 100 Friends from California. Now, more than ever, we want to continue to help make a better world.
